SPECIFICATIONS
Artwork Specifications
· Supplied at the correct trim size ( mm )
· With 3mm of bleed on each edge
· Supplied in CMYK ( or PMS Colours )
· Image based artwork 300dpi
· Text based artwork 600dpi
· Design elements kept within 3mm margin ( 3mm away from the trim edge )

Scodix:
When you would like to create a talking point, digital embossing does exactly that. A raised clear high gloss coating offers a product that people just can’t put down.
Saddle Stitching:
This method of binding is the most frequently requested for collated books, using two stitching wires through the spine. Binding options are governed by the number and stock weight of pages.
Perfect Binding:
This binding method looks great where there are larger numbers of pages. The pages are glued at the spine. Binding options are governed by the number and stock weight of pages.
PUR Binding:
This binding method is used for large numbers of pages especially where the stock is of higher weights. The pages are glued at the spine. Binding options are governed by the number & stock weight of pages.
Wiro Binding:
A binding method that is most commonly used in the production of calendars, note books and reports. Wires are available in a range of colours.
Hand Finishing:
Hand finish includes all elements not suited to being machine finished, either because no machine has the capability or if quantities are low. Everything from taping to stringing of swing tickets.
Collating:
Where multiple kinds are required to be collated or need to run in a specific order, we offer collation to bring the job together.
Padding:
Desk pads and stationery such as delivery and memo pads. Using glue, these can be bound on any of the straight edges.
Drilling:
Where pads need to be inserted into ring binders or for products such as swing tickets and hanging boards, choose the number of required holes to finish your job. Size options are also available.
Ram Punching:
When you require all four corners on your business cards to be rounded, we have the capability with our ram punching service. This creates a stunning finish for printed business cards.
Embossing:
If you are looking for something slightly different on stationery or a corporate folder, embossing can add a different dimension to your printed product.
Foiling:
As an alternative or addition, we offer foiling for stationery. There are various colours and styles available to give you the desired look.
Spot UV:
This is a process where you are able to highlight specific areas on book covers or folders by applying a high gloss coating.
Flood UV Coating:
An overall UV coating is an alternative to a laminate and gives a specific feel to products such as playing cards.
Laminating:
Lamination options include gloss, matt and soft touch to add that quality and protective finish to printed literature.
